Vintage Kai Kristiansen chest of drawers (*sold)

This extraordinarily beautiful and rare large chest of drawers was designed in the 1960s by the well-known Danish designer Kai Kristiansen and produced by Feldballes Møbelfabrik. We have never come across this cabinet before and this design piece of furniture really stands out because of its beautiful and high-quality design. The cabinet not only has a subtle bowed front, the curves on the side are also a feast for the eyes and unique.

In addition, great care has been taken in the design of the handles and the base, as well as the decorative top edge. In addition, this chest of drawers has a beautiful drawing in the veneer, which continues flawlessly over the drawers. Nice detail is that the top drawer is slightly lower than the rest. All in all, an extremely beautiful chest of drawers, which also offers a lot of storage space due to its large size.

The cabinet has been completely renovated and is in very neat condition. Dimensions: 115 cm high, 85 cm wide and 45 cm deep.

Deze buitengewoon mooie en zeldzame ladekast werd in de 60’er jaren ontworpen door de bekende Deense ontwerper Kai Kristiansen en geproduceerd door Feldballes Møbelfabrik. We zijn deze kast nog nooit eerder tegengekomen en dit design opbergmeubel onderscheidt zich echt door de prachtige en hoogwaardige vormgeving en afwerking. De kast heeft niet alleen een subtiele bollopende voorkant, ook de rondingen aan de zijkant zijn een lust voor het oog en uniek.

Daarnaast is er veel zorg besteed aan de vormgeving van de handrepen en het onderstel, maar ook aan de decoratieve bovenrand. Bovendien heeft deze ladekast een prachtige tekening in het fineer, die feilloos doorloopt over de laden. Leuk detail is dat de bovenste lade iets minder hoog is dan de rest. Al met al een extreem mooie ladekast, die door z’n grote formaat veel opbergruimte biedt ook nog.

De kast is helemaal gerenoveerd en in zeer nette staat. Afmetingen: 115 cm hoog, 85 cm breed en 45 cm diep.
